Project 1 : Accounts Migration
Description: As part of the project to migrate from the legacy system to Connectivity Pro, we tested the newly developed platform, which included a React frontend, a .NET Core backend, an MS SQL database, and REST APIs for backend communication.
My Role:
  • Worked with Developers & Technical Owners to understand requirements and system changes.
  • Developed and executed test cases, and reported findings.
  • Tested the API endpoints, Front end, test data preparation, data analysis, verification and validation throughout testing phase.
  • Recommended changes to improve functionality and speed up the migration process.
Outcome:
  • This transition resulted in savings of over $1 million in legacy maintenance costs while simultaneously upgrading the client to modern technology.
  • Decommissioned various legacy platforms and services to have all customer accounts under KORE’s main portal ConnectivityPro.
Project 2: Omni Hub for Connected Health Technology System
Description: Assist in developing and testing the KORE’s in house product that would replace the 3rd party software application tool and integrate to Philips peripherals including existing peripherals such as oximeter, glucose meter, Blood pressure Machine, thermometer, weighting scale etc..
My Role:
  • Worked with Developers, Technical Owners, Product Owner and Business Analyst to understand requirements and overcome challenges.
  • Streamlined QA process for Project team to adhere to best testing solutions for this project.
  • Real time integration and end-to-end testing conducted to test the developed hardware and its software application.
  • Updated Confluence document with new findings and maintained it for future references.
  • Documented the test results and distributed weekly status report to all stakeholders to keep everyone informed of current accomplishments and challenges.
Outcome:
  • Reduce to 10% cost of maintaining the third-party software application such as Android devices. At the same time integrated to new Philips ventilator machine that increase the KORE revenue.
  • Removed the dependency on third party tools that worked as gateway device to push data to cloud.
Project 3: KORE Shop (E-Commerce)
Description: The project aimed to integrate KORE Wireless’s e-commerce platform with Simon IoT to enhance the user experience, streamline operations, and provide advanced IoT solutions to customers. This integration was designed to leverage Simon IoT’s capabilities to offer seamless connectivity and management of IoT devices through KORE Wireless’s online store.
My Role:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for the integration.
  • Develop the integration modules and conduct thorough testing to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Tested the integration of KORE Shop with NetSuite, Simon IoT and Shopify site.
  • Actively performed exploratory testing to find out bugs that might go unnoticed.
  • Executed tests to verify that the KORE Shop UI is both visually and functionally accurate.
Outcome:
  • Customers experienced a more intuitive and seamless shopping experience.
  • Streamlined backend processes led to faster order processing and better inventory management.
  • Customers benefited from enhanced IoT device management and analytics capabilities.
Project 4: On-boarding new carriers to KORE’s Platform
Description: Worked as a Lead QA to handle the QA testing efforts and on-board the new carriers into KORE’s ConnectivityPro platform. The main goal of this project was to on-board any new carriers that are new customers of KORE onto its main platform.
My Role:
  • Guided the QA’s in India to design Test strategy document based on the client requirements and system requirements.

  • Streamlined QA process for Project team to adhere to best testing solutions for this project.

  • Conducted feature test in non-prod environment and end-to-end test in production to test functionality including provisioning, CDRs, usage, reports and billing.

  • Participated in grooming sessions, sprint planning and retrospective meetings after each sprint.

  • Documented the test results and distributed weekly status report to all stakeholders to keep everyone informed of current status and any blocker/critical issues.

Outcome:
  • Increased KORE Revenue because they cater different Carriers worldwide such as eSim, T-Mobile, AT&T, Vodafone, Verizon, China mobile etc.
Project 5: ConnectivityPro Automation Framework
Description: Developed automation frame to lessen the testing effort and for quick validation of the feature released and regression test as KORE works on continuous development. We used python as GUI and API for connectivity for UI and DBASE. For the result of the automation run it was connected to TestRail. Developed GUI for Test Data generation such as SIM# and SIM usages. Created metrics for tracking the stability of each functionality.
My Role:
  • Liaison with development team to perform system requirement analysis.

  • Participated in grooming sessions, sprint planning and retrospective meetings after each sprint.

  • Collaborated with other QA to setup testing environment and test framework to develop the automation for ConnectivityPro.

Outcome:
  • Achieve the stability and quality of the Platform. lessen the testing effort to 30%.
Project 6 : Operational Data Store (DXC Technology)
Description: Middleware application architecture to support requests originated from front-end (Public Site) or third-party applications and processes those requests at backend database using ODS application. Technologies used includes VB.net, Java, ALM, VMware virtual private network. This was a government client in Canada.
My Role:
  • Coordinate with Project Manager, Technical Architecture, Business Analyst and Project developers to understand and plan the project and estimate the timelines for testing effort.
  • Produce documentation, test plan creation, test execution, test results recording and follow-through.
  • Setup test environment and test accounts for System Integration Testing.
  • Led the project with 2 tester on the team.
Outcome:
  • Reduced the load on the main server by integrating middleware application to process the user requests in timely manner.
  • Government (Customer) was extremely happy with built application and was already in talks to start another project with same project team.
Project 7: Investment Fund Changes Implementation
Description: The Investment Fund Changes Implementation project aimed to restructure and optimize the investment lineup for several retirement plans managed by AON Hewitt. This involved transitioning to new investment options, including proprietary AON Hewitt collective investment trusts (CITs), to enhance performance and reduce costs.
My Role:
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of the current investment lineup and identify areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate and select new investment options, focusing on AON Hewitt’s CITs.
  • Execute the transition plan, including communication with plan participants and coordination with fund managers.
  • Continuously monitor the performance of the new investment options and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all changes comply with regulatory requirements and fiduciary responsibilities.

Outcome:
  • The new investment lineup showed improved performance metrics compared to the previous options.
  • Achieved significant cost savings through reduced management fees and expenses.
Project 8: Implementation of Loan process
Description: The Loan Process Implementation project aimed to streamline and automate the loan application and approval process for retirement plan participants. This initiative was designed to enhance user experience, reduce processing times, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
My Role:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the current process and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop a new automated system for loan processing, including user interfaces and backend processing.
  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure the system meets all functional and compliance requirements.
  • Provide training for users and create comprehensive documentation for the new process.
  • Roll out the new system and monitor its performance to ensure it meets the project objectives.
Outcome:
  • Loan processing times were reduced by 50%, significantly improving participant satisfaction.
  • Automated processes reduced errors and ensured compliance with regulatory standards.
